.55 Boys Mk.II

Background: The .55 Boys W Mk. II cartridge was developed by Britain during the late 1930s as an improved armour-piercing round for the Boys anti-tank rifle, with W indicating AP. The W MK.II projectile used a mild steel core sheathed in lead alloy, offering improved armour penetration compared to lead-cored W Mk.I.
